Trail mix is usually a good suggestion. Cereal bars make sure it isnt full of sugar, if within the first five ingredients it lists high fructose corn syrup. Put back. You can make your own cereal bars the night before. Toast oats for about 5-8 minutes in oven at 350. Blend in dried fruit (whatever your preference is) and applesauce (unsweetened). Make into little breakfast bars. Place back into oven for about 5 minutes. You are good to go with a healthy food snack.

Hope that helps.

Almonds with raisins is a good source of quick energy. I make great smoothies with my Vita Mix and drink the concoction on my way to work. It only takes a few minutes. For example: 1 carrot, 1 apple, 1 banana, 3 strawberries, 1 big handful of uncooked rolled oats, 1 scoop of whey protein, 1 tablespoon of black strap molasses, 1 teaspoon of green herb mix, and milk for liquid -- juice also. I vary the ingredients and the sky is the limit on variety. When I am in a hurry and don't have time to cook, I always make something in my Vita Mix that is healthy, tasty and FAST.

When we are busy, we tend to eat junk and not exercise. Not good. "The Royal Canadian Air Force Exercise Plans for Physical Fitness" program only takes about ten minutes and you get a good well rounded workout. This book is around. Library, Amazon, book stores.
