A boy was at a carnival and went to a booth where a man said to the boy, "If I write your exact weight on this piece of paper then you have to give me $50, but if I cannot, I will pay you $50."

The boy looked around and saw no scale so he agrees, thinking no matter what the carny writes he'll just say he weighs more or less.

In the end the boy ended up paying the man $50. How did the man win the bet?

Of course the only way that this man could knew the exact weight of the boy would be by mesure it somehow. Perhaps there coud be a technological workarround whit some type of sensor hiden in the area

Im not realy an expert on this kind of sensors , I remember I once read a book form Radio Shack that describe a sensor made out of 2 layers of coper and between them a layer of a static protection foam. As you compress this kind of sensor there is a variation on the foams electrical resistance.

Well this perhaps woud be an awfull aproach , I just want to tell you how some pressure sensors might work , Im sure that in the market there sure had to be prebuilt special presure sensors that might be hidden on the area , perhaps under the floor.
if you know the weight of something like one or more floor sqares then the weight of the person would be the diference between the total weight and the weight you previously know.

The scale might be hidden to , any numerical display device such as a ckock might be modified to achieve this.Perhaps there might be no display at all . the man coud recive this information coded whit some sort of a morse code or somthing similar.

I have sudied electronics for a while now. Realy I have never made a pressure sensor . But I have done similar projects like a proximity sensor , with todays technology there this kind of projects are achievable eaven for hobyists. There are some integrated circuits called microcontrollers that are almost as little computers and do marvells whith stuff like this.
