if a guy knows that you like him but still treats you normal, like saying hey when we see each other with some eye contact and a how are you, and a huge smile and some small talk, does it mean that he's interested? if not, what does it mean?

He's trying not to come off too pushy, or maybe he is not that interested. Who knows, he knows you like him so what else can you do but be nice a little flirty, if he doesn't make any advances torward you, you gotta move on cause you put in your share of work now he's gotta somehow let you know he's interested. Give him a couple weeks if he doesn't try them say by. If he's shy you gotta step it up a little be more huggy kissy but not too agressive

lol. It probably just means hes nervous and doesnt know how to tell you he likes you. If he knows that you know he likes you then maybe hes just still nervous and doesnt know how to act upon it. Maybe you should try making the first move.If hes shy hell come out of his shell.I was extremely shy around my first girlfriend but i popped the "Wanna go out" question because i had nothing to lose. However, she put the moves first on me when she went in for the kiss.I was extremely nervous .The point is,The guy isnt always going to make the first move, and trust me if hes shy then hes a "good guy" that you can always depend on, like me! :)

Well, either he doesn't feel the same way or maybe he's waiting on you to make the first move. Here's a thought: we live in the 21st century. We've had women's lib movements, why don't YOU approch HIM about it. Jeez, step up to your role as a human and take some responsibility instead of waiting on the guy to potentially play catch up. (no offense, just trying to make a strong point here :) )

if he is always with you but he doesn't want anyone to know that you are going out
if heis not consistent
if don'tmeethis other firend and family
if he likes you:
he would always talk to you over the phone and talk about,well YOU!
he likes you if he is very public of being with you(meaning you go out for a date,watching movies,not just hanging out at youre place)
