Yes I am overweight. I weight approximately 203 lbs right now. Would love to get down to 125-130. Not huge, but I can stand to lose quite a few.

Well i have heard that losing 1Lb a week is safe but make sure you check with your doctor to ensure you don't lose to much weight. I am on this low carb diet right now, i eat only tuna and 2 protein shakes a day, so far i have lost 12Lbs in the last 6 weeks. Make sure above all you do eat healthy and exercize regularly.
Good Luck!!!
Got any tips on how to quit smoking fast? That is my new years resolution!

if you are at least 75 lbs overweight than yes. docs say it is healthy to lose 2 lbs a week and there are 52 weeks a year so it would be safe to lose 104 lbs in 1 year. the first 20-30 lbs come off easy after that you plateau and it becomes difficult. cut your portion intake. no sugar or anything that has sugar in it and no soda. you can do it if you have the will power to be consistent. stay active and commit and in 1 years you can be 75 lbs lighter good luck

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.

I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.

It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.

Get started today!

You may lose that much in a year, but you won't keep it off for the long haul. 2 lbs a week is what doctors say, to be able to keep it off. You have to change your mind set and life habits.
Wish you the best!

It's fine. 'Moderate' weight loss is considered between one to three pounds per week, so multiply that by fifty two weeks in a year and seventy-five pounds is well within the parameters.

well, for one thing it DOES depend on your current weight, and your ideal body weight.

if your 75 or more lbs overweight, I think its a healthy and possible (difficult, but possible) goal.

check out the book "You on a Diet", I think it may be helpful (been reading with my wife, who has weight struggles)

NOTE: not to be snarky about ANYONE's advice, but 2lbs a week(which I agree as a solid goal), over the course of a full year would be 104lbs, fyi
