No, I'm not even Christian. I'm just taking this Modern Christianity Course at my local College because I need continuing ed credits.

To bring people back to a consecrated dedicated abaundant life that Christ intended for them to have. People were probably sick and tired of dead formal churches that were merely social programs with no room for God's spirit to work and they simply got hungry for more of God and in prayer meetings, they found just the revival for their souls they were looking for.

The purpose of the Holiness movement was to bring GOD's people back to Him.
For GOD is Holy an He desires Holy offspring.
