I didnt finish my classes because the school closed with no notice. Now I still am being charged for the student loan in full. At Watterson College in Oxnard, Ca. 1995 or so.

I *believe* that may be grounds for dismissal of the loan. Check out the federal website.

Work with the agency that is serving the loan (i.e., Fed Loan Servicing) and complete a Loan Discharge Application: School Closure, which will go through them to the US Department of Education. Mine took somewhere between 6 months and a year before it was totally clear, but the loan (2012-2014, I was almost done) has been discharged (considered paid) as of 2015. My biggest issue right now is trying to find out if it is considered reportable income on 2015 taxes. HOWEVER -- Be aware that the laws may have been different in 1995 and may not apply to you today.

I would consult a Lawyer on this..also maybe get a bunch of others that attended the college with you and then you could make it a class action lawsuit w/ alot of backers.
