newark is in NJ

Newark is in NJ where as JFK is on the eastern side the of New York city area.Newark will be closer from any point in NJ.

Also, Newark airport is much easier to deal with as far as getting in and out. NJ transit trains have a stop right at the airport.

Newark Liberty Airport is actually in Elizabeth, New Jersey, which is near Newark, and close to New York City. When I lived in Manhattan, I actually preferred Newark Airport as it was easier to get to the west side of Manhattan than the 2 New York Airports, La Guardia and JFK.

Yes, Newark is in New Jersey. You can connect from the airport directly to NJ Transit train which will take you to many points within the state and beyond. Amtrak is also available for more distant points.

Newark Airport is close to New Jersey, actually it IS in NJ. JFK Airport is in Queens. So is LaGuardia Airport.

Well, to go from the Trenton, NJ Area to Newark, it's about 59 minutes driving time (56 miles)

To go from the Trenton, NJ Area to JFK it's about 1 hour 33 minutes, (81.6 miles)

So, Newark is your best bet!
