forgive me for my confusion. some say Jesus is the son of God. Others say that Jesus is God. Since little, i've always wonder how Jesus can be the son of God and the God at the same time. If Jesus is God, then God was baby who was born with blood all over him, need to be feed, and have to learn. And later, the great God was murdered by some weak human? God should be better than that. And now some people say that he have child. So, that baby would be like the grandchild of God and also the child of God? So much confusion. Who have the final say then? God-father, Jesus-God or baby-Jesus God? lets have some critical thinking about that. i'm going to convert to religion with only one God. life should be simple. simple is good, but not any simpler.what about you?

This an interesting question. I used to ask the same thing. I agree with your position that a lot of churches just beat people down; however, that's not God or Jesus, that's organized religion. How many times do we have to say "Thanks, dude, we appreciate it"? Who knows! I get point, and it really is a good question. No offense to Christians, but some of them just do it because that's what Church says and that's how they were raised. I truly would love to hear an honest and thoughtful answer from a solid Christian, just so I can better understand.

Well, RIGHT! Jesus didn't need your praise, coz He's already almighty. And, you and i are nothing before Him. And, don't even try to thing like BRUCE ALMIGHTY. Don't play God, even if you think you can. Coz, human never able play God. Seriously.
Going to church is a hatred, coz people never realized what is the true meaning of going to church. Why did you need to be pray while you already free for all? This is why, coz God never charge you for every breath you take (while He can do that. Wanna proof? Take a look at the sick people at the hospital. They breath using the oxigen that is not for free).
Oh, and one more thing, you as God, put your follower on earth with limited amount of time?? That's the problem. Coz Jesus and Father don't create human with UNLIMITED amount of time in this universe. You wasn't created to be perished. I take a deep pity on you if you are prepared yourself to be perish one day.

When people pray, it is usually to ask or petition God for something that they need. I pray to Jesus for all things... I thank Him for providing the food that I eat; the clothes that I wear; the roof over my head; the warm bed I sleep in. I pray asking Him to protect and guide those that I love and cannot protect 24/7 - to keep them in good health, body soul and spirit. I am NOT omnipotent - Jesus is. It makes prfect sense to pray to Him.
When you were a kid, did you ever ask your father or mother for something that you thought you needed? Or were you, even as a child, so full of yourself and proud tht you never asked for help from anyone?
I say, you are the one with the ego problem.

I really don't know what church you went to, but if they there were doing what you say then its time to look for a church the teaches the Bible chapter by chapter and verse by verse.
When we pray to God, Just like Jesus showed us, it goes like this.
Heavenly Father, I approach your throne in the name of Jesus Christ and give praise and honor to you.
You then go on with your petition then end your prayer to the Father like if it be in your Will. Thank you Father in the name of Jesus Christ Amen.><>

Jesus doesn't want us to pray to him, on the contrary he always spoke of praying to the Father in the heavens (Matthew 6:9, Luke 11:2). Yes God is looking for true worshipers, but that's only because He wishes to bless them. Our small sacrifice of worship will bring us great blessings and peace.
Examples:
(Malachi 3:10) Bring all the tenth parts into the storehouse, that there may come to be food in my house; and test me out, please, in this respect, whether I shall not open to YOU people the floodgates of the heavens and actually empty out upon YOU a blessing until there is no more want.
(Proverbs 10:22) The blessing of God—that is what makes rich, and he adds no pain with it.
(Revelation 21:3-4) “Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his peoples. And God himself will be with them. Â And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”
You should also realize that there are false prophets out there trying to mislead you about the truth of God.
(Matthew 7:15-16) “Be on the watch for the false prophets that come to YOU in sheep’s covering, but inside they are ravenous wolves. By their fruits YOU will recognize them.
If you attend a Christian meeting and what is spoken doesn't correspond with Bible teachings, then be aware that that location is not a true worship place of God.
Keep seeking the truth and you will find your reward (Proverbs 2:1-9).

God wants us to fellowship with Him, like Adam did in the garden. We fellowship with the Lord through prayer.
Jesus has never sinned. You do not have a clear understanding of sin, to be making a statement like that.
As far as making you feel bad. That is good even great. God wants us to hate ourselves, our sinful human nature, something that comes with our physical bodies. He wants that so that we will find it necessary to draw near to Him, to need Him everyday in all aspects of our life, to make us more like Christ!
Check out this book by John MacArthur titled Hard To Believe. Even if you choose not to believe what is in it you may have a better understanding of what Christianity is all about & supposed to be.

Prayer is kind of like conversation. It's a question, answer, statement sort of thing. Just like writing a letter or talking on the phone. Are we thankful for what we have? Id we are, then why not say so. Why is it that when bad things happen we ask God why, complain, and blame Him? But when good things happen we don't say thanks and we want to take all the credit ourselves? There is no other creator. God created EVERYTHING. And we're not to say thanks? We say thanks in prayer and by our actions. There is salvation, total forgiveness of sin, eternal life through only one. That one is Jesus. We don't merit salvation, we can't save ourselves from sin and its consequences. It is freely given us through the grace and love of God. What's wrong with giving thanks for that?

Jesus died for your sins..He died so you may live...you don't suck...you are also a child of God so you don't suck....Part of serving God is by living a good life, meaning following the commandments...loving you neighbours and yes praising Jesus......at my church we dance, we run and we jump and if we do get on our knees it is because we are in the presence of God....in the grand scheme of things I don't think He is asking that much of us.....

Honestly, I do not mean to offend you, but it seems that you have more of the ego problem. Jesus seeks our obedience because He is God! The very same God who created you the very way you are! It took nothing short of an all-powerful, omnipotent God to take NOTHING and turn it into a living, breathing human being. Did not your parents ask for your obedience? It was because they loved you and because they had things to teach you that they sought your obedience to them. God loves us, and has something amazing promised for us: life ETERNAL in paradise with Him! Yes, he seeks your attention. Not because he wants to make you feel bad or feel like nothing, but because you ARE somebody and because He made you just the way you are. It is true that we, as humans, are not perfect, and that Jesus was perfect, but Jesus offers us the chance to wipe away all imperfection! We are sinful. We fail. Everyday you and I, both, mess up. It is the fact of sin living in us. We can do nothing about it, save for giving it to Jesus and asking Him to wipe it clean. That is what He wants to do for us. "For God so loved the world, that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him would not perish, but have everlasting life" (John 3:16). Please open up your eyes to this God who is asking for your obedience with the understanding that He loves you so much that He wants you to be Him forever! Please don't try to put God into a little box so as to make Him fit your world, but realize that you live in His! Thanks for the question.
