You've obviously never been around a 1 or 2 or 3 or 4 year old. They can and do sin. Ask a 2 year old if they ate the cookie - with crumbs on their face and the guiltiest expression you ever saw, they will look you right in the eyes and say 'no'. Ever see a one year old throw a temper tantrum when they don't get what they want?
However, I honestly believe that they do not yet have the cognizant faculties to make a determination about the saving grace of Jesus. I leave them in God's good hands.

K I don't quite understand your questions, but I think you mean, if a young child dies, and never commits a sin, isn't he sinless?
Well, Christianity teaches that we are all sinners... even children in the womb, because they are affected by the original sin. Some religions say that as long as you never outright reject Jesus as the one and only savior, you will go to heaven. Other's, such as my religion, say you must accept Jesus to go to heaven. I personally believe that children go to heaven because Jesus never wanted to be seperated from children, and said that they were the closest thing to the Kingdom of God. Some people say that a child is excluded from having to choose until they reach a certain age, but I think God decides depending on the child. For example, I feel I was probably ready to make a religious decision from when I was nine years old, so during the time between when I was 9-15, if I had passed away I feel I probably would have gone to hell, because I hadn't accepted Christ. Others may not be capable of making that decision until they are 16 years old, some may be able to make it at four. We all mature differently and I think God takes that into account.

No because you are born a sinner. just because you are a baby doe's not mean you are not a sinner, babies fight over toys they learn to speak dirty wards that they hear others say they bite.but they are still a child of God.because babies don't understand the meaning of salvation yet.but there will be a time in a some young child's life were they have to choose if they want the Lord in there life just like every body else.you are born with the sin nature.only Jesus Christ is sin free. God Bless!

Where there is no knowledge of the law there is no sin. That means that the innocent who can't conceive of the law due to mental handicap, and little children, are not under the law, and sin is not imputed to them. When we grow to the point where we know that we have done wrong, and that we can't go back and undo it, we feel separated from God by sin, and we are. Jesus came and said that he would pay the payment for our sin, and he did. When we turn away from wrong doing and believe in him then he forgives us, and restores our conscience back to the way it was before we sinned. We have fellowship with God and have peace and joy again. If we say we haven't done anything wrong then we are lying to ourselves and to God and can't receive forgivness unless we repent.

Humans, in their infant state, are once again innocent and clean from any taint of sin. The taint of the so-called "original sin" is swallowed up by the Atonement of Jesus Christ. Around age 8 kids generally begin to become accountable before God and can actually commit a sin.
We will be punished for our own sins and not for Adam's transgression. However, we do inherit some conditions from Adam's transgression... mortality, the ability for our spirits to separate from our bodies. However, little children and babies cannot be damned for any sins for they are not capable of committing any.

contradicts what teaching? you need to elaborate usually a child before the age of seven is not responsible for so-called sins as they have not reached the age of reasoning which is 7 so all would go to heaven as for Jesus He is God's son and God even says if you do not believe that then you do not believe in me

this is an incomplete question. I guess your saying is the Baby saved? Well thats why we baptize baby's.
As regards children who have died without baptism, the Church can only entrust them to the mercy of God, as she does in her funeral rites for them. Indeed, the great mercy of God who desires that all men should be saved, and Jesus' tenderness toward children which caused him to say: "Let the children come to me, do not hinder them," allow us to hope that there is a way of salvation for children who have died without baptism. All the more urgent is the Church's call not to prevent little children coming to Christ through the gift of holy baptism (CCC 1261).

If a child, any age, has the ability to willfully sin (lie, steal, murder, etc.) then that child will do just that. Once that occurs, repentance is necessary.
My daughters weren't taught to lie, yet they did. It's within us to sin, from birth. Sin occurs when a decision is made to do something that we know to be wrong.
Prior to that, there is no sin. Without sin, we go to be with God. There is no contradiction with the truth.

Not really. The child inherited it. Inherited it just as much as his eye color or hair style or whatever else. Jesus was perfect because he had a perfect Father, even if his mother was imperfect. But you and I, we have imperfect parents (both of them). You can't inherit perfection if it isn't there to be inherited.
Besides, when Adam and Eve failed and sinned, they raised the question "is anyone capable of staying faithful to God?" Since the child wasn't old enough to handle the question and all of its consequences, he isn't able to answer it. He never provided God His due (gratitude and praise for creating him and caring for him); so one could even argue that the child sinned that way.
Doesn't matter though, death can only slow us down. God can overpower death, so the kid will be back to handle things soon enough.
