The only unforgivable sin is Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the part of God that touches your heart when the Gospel of Jesus is presented - the Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is when you reject Jesus.
No, it is not in conflict with an ever loving ever forgiving God. We have all sinned and that sin separates us from God - we are dead spiritually. God loves us so much He paid the price for our sins through the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross. He gives us the way back to Him as a free gift. If you don't accept the gift, that is your choice. But not accepting it is the only thing God will not forgive.

Blasphemy is using Gods name in anyway not seen fit. There are even some places where blasphemy is against the law. The only unforgivable sin is the denial of the one and true God. I used to think suicide was an unforgivable sin but started to read into it and there is no place in the bible that says it is unforgivable the only logic that they use is that it would be a sin and there would be no time after you are dead to ask for forgiveness. .

hello,
I am not a great christian but here goes :
blasphemy is speaking against God, disbelieving him and all his greatness.
However as for the "unforgivable sin", there is no such thing. Whatever error we have committed, God can forgive. Though we will still get some scolding hehehehe. What we need to do to be forgiven however is to recognize our frailty and honestly make amends with God. All sins however become unforgivable if we dont recognize our evil ways and do not make amends with him.
Thanks and hope this helps,

I don't believe there is an unforgivable sin . God will forgive anyone if you sincerely ask him and really mean it .
Blasphemy is wrong, you don't ever want to do it . It is saying something completely against God, or something that is mocking God . God does not take it lightly .
Well I hope I have helped answer your question . May the peace of God be with you . God bless!!

Blasphemy is the anglicized form of the Greek word bla·sphe·mi′a. The Greek term basically means injurious, defamatory, or abusive speech and was used with reference to such speech whether directed against God or against humans. (Compare Re 16:11; Mt 27:39.)
The holy spirit or active force emanates from God and is intimately connected with God’s person, Jesus spoke of “blasphemy against the spirit.” This is stated to be the unforgivable sin. (Mt 12:31; Mr 3:28, 29; Lu 12:10) Blasphemy is shown to originate within one’s heart (Mt 15:19; Mr 7:21, 22); hence the heart condition, manifest in the willfulness involved, must relate to such blasphemy against the spirit. The incident that led to Jesus’ statement concerning the unpardonableness of such sin demonstrates that it refers to opposing the operation of God’s spirit. This would not be because of deception, human weakness, or imperfection; but the opposition would be willful and deliberate. The Pharisees clearly saw God’s spirit at work in Jesus to accomplish good, yet for selfish reasons they attributed this power to Beelzebub, Satan the Devil, thereby blaspheming God’s holy spirit.—Mt 12:22-32; compare Heb 6:4-6; 10:26, 27.
So in review, the unforgivable sin would be direct opposition to God; this would in no way contradict His beautiful qualities.

Well I know I'm going to tick people of by answering this question but... (And I'm not answering to be disrespectful)
When I used to study the bible, I was under the impression that the unforgivable sin was rejecting the holy spirit. In other words, when you become a true Christian you are filled with the Holy Spirit, and if you having full knowledge and knowing the consequences, decide to reject Christ, you've committed the unforgivable sin. Much like how Lucifer did, which is why in the Bible he is condemned to hell.

Blasphemy is a pretty much outdated term which just meant to curse, slander, etc. God. They used this term (and believed it was unforgivable) back when they thought a girl was a witch if she liked to read and that it was holy to kill thousands in the Middle East for control of a little stretch of land. Christians have been misguided before: we aren't perfect. I do not believe that there is an unforgivable sin; if you are truly sorry and ask the Lord's forgiveness, he will forgive you from your sin's and remove them from you (as far as East is away from West) and totally forget them (Ps 103:12, paraphrased). Whatever you have done, if you repent, he will forgive you.

THE UNFORGIVABLE SIN IS DEFINED AS THE BLASPHEMY OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.
But notice it says it will not be forgiven in this age or age to come. This sin was manifest during the first advent of Jesus. When people, knowing full well Who He was, and witnessing the miracles---said that He performed those acts by the power of Satan.
SIMPLY PUT, YOU CANNOT COMMIT THAT SIN TODAY.
However during the millenial kingdom- Jesus will once again be fully manifest, and it will be able to be committed again.
Takes a true hardness of heart to hate Jesus Christ that much.
The reason it is unforgivable, is that the person committing it will not seek forgiveness due to their hardness of heart.

True blasphemy is denying God. I guess that might be considered the unforgivable sin, but if you deny God then you probably never truly believed in Him and in salvation from sins in the first place. So you wouldn't be going to Heaven anways.

The unforgivable sin is at the end you will be delivered up to the Antichrist if you wont take the mark of the beast, now when you are delivered up the holy ghost wants to use you to testify about Jesus through you, that's why you were born and at that moment if you don't let the words come through you, that is the unforgivable sin, you deny him at the critical moment. You could not have committed it yet!
