I plan on making a doctor's appointment soon, but in the meantime I wanted to get some yahoo advice. I have a nervous feeling 24 hours a day. Like when you get butterfly's in your stomach but it's really uncomfortable. I'm nauseous 24 hours a day no matter how much/little I eat. (I'm not pregnant!) I don't even sleep anymore. I'm always tired and I lay down for about 6 hours a night but none of it is a peaceful sleep. I doze and wake up every 30 minutes to an hour. I've tried ambien but it makes no difference. All the things going on in my life (good and bad) just circulate through my head all day and night and they won't stop. I even have stomach ulcers because of it....Any opinions?

Just to clarify things. I'm not depressed. I've suffered from depression before. A VERY long time ago. I know the effects of it. This isn't a depression thing.

You are super stressed and anxious. You need a short does of an anti-anxiety med to get you through this. Also to back that up you need to talk to someone objective that will not judge you or tell your secrets like a counselor. Good luck.

Depression and anxiety. I have to take three different anti-depressants. they help me a lot, but I still have a lot of trouble sleeping. Any little problem keeps me awake. Hope you get some relief soon.

The basic problem may be 'mal absorption'! Begins with 'nervous diarrhoea' then gradually develops the signs similar to what you have described: anyway, good that you are seeing a doc. soon!
