Yeah if you want some disease like copper poison. Take it from me ive had nose bleeds since i was 7 years old, so almost 24 years now. First off if your prone to getting nose bleeds use sailne nasal spray. it will help with the dryness which is a large potion of why your nose bleeds. Next if it starts to bleed get some cotton balls or some tissue paper give your nose one good blow but not too hard, do this to see if a clot has already formed, and to guage how bad its bleeding. Next stuff the cotton in your nose. not too far up just enough to keep it from leaking. after its packed pinch the bridge of your nose where the bone/flap of skin is. next go and get some ice. place some on your neck and take a piece and place it on the bridge of your nose as well. cooling the membrains/blood vessles will slow the blood flow. keep pressure applied for at least 2 minutes. remove the cotton and check to see if its still bleeding. if it its repalce the cotton and copntinue applying pressure. if it has stopped get a tissue and SOFTLY blow your nose and try and get he clot out. if your nose bleeds for more then 30minutes you should seek medical attention.

It works but it has nothing to do w being a copper penny, it's because of he pressure on the vein under your top lip, I had a doctor tell me to take a clean paper bag and fold it into a rectangle about 1x2 inches and put it there and hold it tightly, same as putting pressure on any bleeding wound. gives it a chance to clot.

no.

The best way to stop a nosebleed is direct pressure on the bridge of the nose., pressing the sides of the nose against the septum or nasal bone. You can also use an ice pack to the back of the neck
