Who is your savior? Check it out. Was his life happy? Did he look happy to you ever? Any happy stories about him? He was after fame and enjoyment too. I think that might have something to do with why.

A question of high relevance, thats really true that Many people are very unhappy even though they have lots of money etc etc.
People generally feel sad when they don't get what they actually need .
If I can make it as a point the first reason for the sadness is that people in many cases fails to identify what they need actually and going behind the wrong selection will ultimately make them unhappy.
To make things more specific Humans crave for love.
People love to be loved. When they go behind money and fame Love doesn't come to picture at all. What ever they gain can't give them the real love as Love cannot be bought in the market :-)
Material prosperity is a requirement some times for a happy living but when the priority changes from a happy living to Material prosperity alone things contradict and result will be bad.
Just to quote some lines i read somewhere
? - Why do you want to live?
Ans - "I love to be loved. The cry of the poor make me to live for a cause I found"
One should go for things which will really make him satisfied and the most important thing is not to do things which are against ones own value's.

Yes you hear of so many famous people who are hooked on drugs or alcohol. Perhaps it's because ultimately their lives have no meaning beyond what they have already.
Yes money and fame can make you happy but spiritual fulfillment is much more important (I'm talking from a Christian perspective).

Happiness is state of mind occurring when we feel self-satisfied and self-contained no matter what status we are in society. We are not going for what society expected which infact merely not working value. We are stopping to race and compare with other for fame. We truely enjoy in process which we now working and the process is self-reward, not aftermath.

Because we were not made to seek those things. The Word of God says that we are to seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things will be added unto you. We go about things the wrong way. If we seek God first, 'all these things' entail everything that we need. We all will not be millionaires and some not even well off. But God has promised to supply all our needs according to His riches in Glory. God owns everything. So if we are made in His image and He gives food to the birds and animals, we should know that He will take care of us. May God BLess U.
