Being a women verses a man.. is it fair ?

Ok, maybe I'm just havin a bad day BUT is it really fair to be a women? We get the risks of getting pregnant, pain during labor, our "horribel friend" each month,Mood swings, menopause, getting "saggy" while the men know matter what they look like still chase and desire younger, ect,ect,ect UGH lol...... my good friend just found out her husband of 25 yrs is having a affair w/a girl whos 20 yrs younger then him, and it's jsut made me think of all we do & go threw for men... for what??? lol I dont date, im 26 and single, live my content little life, mostly for reasons like this, maybe im insane.. BUTTTTT dontcha just think we go threw ALOT and it seems were not respected or deserving for it????? MEN go threw WHAT???? seriously? what

Lets see..

1.We are expected to pay for practically almost every financial responsibility (i.e. dates, engagement rings, house bills, etc).

2. We are expected to make the first move and fix almost everything and keep them up and running (i.e. plumbing, computers, hardware and etc).

3..When there is a war, only men are required to go when there is a draft. For Women, (especially for pregnant ones) it is usually optional and in most cases not required.

4.. Rape and other criminal charges are usually MUCH MORE severe for men then woman. The U.S. law is heavily sided with protecting women more then men. One example would be that men can't hit women, unless the women attack them first and if their life is at risk. Also when it comes to child custody, in most cases the woman gets to keep the child.

5. Practically everything a man can do, a woman can do. Women can play sports/videogames, workout, wear mens' clothes and in some cases-- even join in male sport teams without being shunned much. But if a man starts taking interest in feminine things such as wearing makeup, wearing female clothing, showing too much emotion, or even showing a deep interest for feminine colors like pink and purple, then they get much more shunned then a tomboy would and are labeled as "gay" by society.

5. Not only can women wear mens' clothes, they have their own clothing suited for them for practically every occasion. Its no wonder that women have 10X more clothing then men.


6. Men are expected to be the strong and silent type. Like #4, they are not expected to show much emotions or weaknesses. And because of that, men are much more prone to living shorter lives when they have unresolved issues bottled up inside of them (due to pride or ignorance/misconception) which can take a huge toll on their body.



7. The average woman totally PAWNS the man in motorskills, people skills and language fluency.

And..

8. Women are usually better with children because they have an easier time expressing their emotions and have more empathy then the average man does. This is especially true with mothers, since they were the ones that actually gave birth to a child, and that is a bond that no man could ever have.

9. We men are also more prone to genetically inherited diseases. Males are 2X more likely to get hemophilia, color blindness and other diseases as well.


Those are just a few disadvantages of being a man. So you must feel better about being a woman now, right?

Neither sex is better then the other.. Each gender clearly has their own perks and disadvantages in not only in law, but biological differences as well. Now I don't know exactly how equal it is between the two, but I'm sure its pretty close!

Men go through a horrible phase of making a women like you happy! Men suffer as much as women do! Instead of being home alone and single, you should go out and meet new people and maybe in the process your start dating again, and if your not the dating type, maybe youll just meet someone who might complete you! As a Women, you have all the advantages on your side. Call an old friend, an ex, catch up. Go take a cup of coffee, he might be closer than you think.

Yes, being a man is great. Wrinkles = Character. If someone is wearing the same outfit as us then they will probably become our best-friend. Wearing white after Labor Day means nothing. Comfortable shoes, no high heel crap. If we don't shave we get a sexy-rugged bread. We can wear the same Tux 30 times in a row. Being a man is pretty great... Most men try to fit a stereotype of "Beer, Boobs, Football" as the society "norm" expects him to act. Not compassionate. But you'll find a man that understands and respects women (this is a rare gem). He can't be apathetic, but he can listen and allow you to confide in him.

You are being unfair to stereotype men the way you do. The only reason men are like this is because the women make the bad decisions. You should stop worrying about the bad ones and just look for a good one. I am a very nice guy and am so sick of hearing all my women friends complain about men. We are all not like that and I hate when I am sterotyped as an idiot who only cares about looks when i am very far from that. Sure are body's are not as difficult to deal with but it is not are choice. It is just evolution that has screwed you over. Please do not write off men just because of bad choices. There are just as many shallow women as there are men. We must try to weed them out on our own.

Well its ur thgt 'the female of the species is always deadlier than the male' Women are more mentally and emotionaly strong and they do adjust to the situation but it hard for a man to forget true luv where as a woman will and she wld have only her well being in her mind whatever happens to the guy even if he goes insane. She wld live her life in luxury.

That is the reason that marriage is no longer the norm in this country. Single women with children out number married women for the first time in history. I am a married man and I hate to see how many of my friends treat their wife's like crap - just like you stated. I adore my wife and I would never think about cheating on her with anyone. I have had many many opportunities to cheat but I never had and never will and I have been married for over 50 years.

I won't refute that men may have it easier; what can I say? God has just blessed us with the grace of low maintenance and simplicity. I can't speak on behalf of the low down and dirty dog you described in your question, but there are a good number of women who share the same easy going laid back outlook on life and enjoy a low maintenance and minimal drama lifestyle. You don't "have" to go through some of the things you go through for some men you have interest in. That decision only lies in the women who do so. Many of us men go through just as much bullshit just to be able to muster up enough courage disarm our guard enough to open our invulnerability to them in a world that teaches us doing so is weakness in the eyes of most. So we may not have a monthly visit or go ride the emotional waves in the manner that you do, but we have our own things to deal with, but we just tend to confront those things head on, on our own. Many women don't have the patience to accept some men for who they are without feeling the need to change each and everything they simply don't like about his character (excluding stupid habits like cheating, but much lesser and meticulous things) Anyway I'm sorry for your friend and I hope a man that makes you feel appreciated finds you...I'm sure there's one out there for ya.

yes its fair, woman are here to help men. how can a woman be equal when she was made from a piece of a mans bone not heart or brain. there are some good women who take care of business. raise kids even though a man is f*cking up. get jobs, go back to school, pay bills, but this is not the norm. 70% of women are no good can't trust them no farther than you can throw them scheming ,backstabbing hoes.

I believe you're just having a bad day. You don't have to have sex, so don't have to have the pain of labor, and you don't have to have periods, you can take birth control pills.
There's arguments that being either sex is unfair, but they balance out.
You are who you are, be happy with being you! Don't complain! What does it accomplish!?
