I get bad mussle cramps in my hip what can I do to get read of it ? It starts when I am walking

Magnesium is the first thing that comes to mind. it helps the muscles relax after they contract which helps prevent cramping. A magnesium chelate or magnesium malate would do a good job see if you can find one fo those. If it's starting with walking it could also be your body losing electrolytes. In australia you can get a electrolyte replacement that doesnt have heaps of sugar that also contains magnesium, its called Endura. that would probably be perfect for you. If you cant get it, make sure you're drinking water with a tiny pinch of salt and sugar in it when you go for your walks.

I used to get bad cramps in my calf muscles and a nurse where I work said try drinking more water, or eating more salt. It can be a lack of either.

diet....take in a little more potassium
you can walk for 20...then stretch
take a warm bath
wear a girdle, it may help
