Only death and taxes are sureties in this world. The rest, you'll just have to work at, 24/7. Still no guarantees. What matters most is that after all is said and done, you can say to yourself: "I did my best!!"

Maybe the trick is in not thinking you're the one to maintain it.
It takes two, and you can both only live one darn day at a time. If you dwell on the negative, guess what? You'll get it. Leave the worrying and fretting behind, and focus on what IS working in the relationship...enjoy developing the positive traits you two share. If your doubts nag at you, go together to a couples counselor and learn how to examine the dynamics of communicating within a loving relationship. That'll educate and fortify you both. Best wishes for a long happy life together.

Yeah, that happens. People that are MARRIED realize that one day. You can't stop it sometimes. It is what it is. If you keep waiting on this one day that may or may not happen, you're going to drive yourself crazy. Enjoy the time you're with him now if you're happy and let the future be.

If your meant to be it simply will be. Enjoy the time you have now and just try to make as many great memories with each other as possible and take it a day at a time.

Life happens sweetie. This is just a part of it. Don't be afraid to live today. Tomorrow will come if you know what will happen or not.

well, making it permanent would probably help.
It also takes a lot of hard work to make a marriage work, but the benefits are well worth it.
Love is like the tide, it rises and falls.
When it is on the rise it is all good.
When it is on the fall, it is then that it is hard work.

i guess you just have to trust in that person and hope you'll never change how you feel. but yeah i often wonder the same thing. like how do i know how i'm gonna feel 20 years from now? i feel like getting married is throwing in the towel and saying you'll never find any better.

you don't mention how old you are, or how old he is. If you're not married, you're not committed, and if you're too young to marry,Don't expect forever, just enjoy what you have.
