As a soldier you move around alot and a relationship is almost impossible, any suggestions on how to keep a meaningful relationship going strong while serving your country.

Are you in the Army? I have no idea. Most of the single ones I knew where lesbians... and Marines, but I would guess since they are outnumbered by males in their daily lives, that they would see the BS types of men available. Therefore, they aren't interested in serious relationships.

being single in the army was good and bad. there were plenty of guys around. you just had to be careful to stay away from the ones that just wanted one thing. some of them try to make you out to be a slut and will talk about you to everyone. the guys i worked with were fun to hang out with, but they were all married and so into my business it became annoying at times. all they wanted to hear about was who i was with and so on. you do get some unwanted attention from other male soldiers. you just have to know how to handle it.

I would think better than a married woman. When married you can be transferred to Iraq & leave husband & children. My daughter in law has a couple of single Army female officers that are friends. They met at some Officer's events. My son says they are funny & like the military life. They have been in the Army between 3-6 yrs. (and my daughter in law thinks I am not listening to her on the phone - haha) My son has 4 single female soliders in his unit - I guess they are handling it okay. He does not have to discpline them & he has not said that they have had any major problems ( of course I guess he wouldn't tell me). It is hard to be a single female anywhere - in fact it can be hard to be female anywhere.

What do you mean? There are alot of single men in the Army, i'm sure. They get by fine.
Are you talking about, sex? If so, then thats pathetic if thats all you're worrying about. But, most soldiers relieve their sexual urges, by masturbating. Or by doing other things, reading/games etc, to ignore it.

when not on duty doing your job, the social environment can be like college. Single men and women can get along fine.

If she LOOKS GOOD and isn't shipped off to Iraq or a hotspot to be killed, there is alot of sex to be had on base.
However, if she's ugly and looks like Rosie Odonnel or Ellen Degenres type Lesbians, she pretty much has a boring time in the Army, gets married - later gets divorced and dies childless.
