Its clear to me that guys nowadays are simply too lazy to get good jobs. And with more women becoming independant, men seem to think that they can just hitch a ride on the gravy train.
I dont mean any harm to anyone who doesn't do this but im sure there will be tons of wise cracks coming my way!

Those "too lazy" kats are no better than spoiled children. Mere boys with daydreams of simply appearing suddenly as a man one day. Then again many ladies are often apt to want to be the one responsible for "being the change" that transforms their man into the person they see him having the potential to be. So perhaps some ladies trap themselves with boys who have no intention of furthering themselves.

I agree woman are given more freedom and headroom in the work force than previous generations. Subsequently, more woman earns better than some of their male partner.
But I don't think men are getting lazy and hitching a ride. I truthfully think that vast majority of men still want to and proud to be bread winner. I would hope that there aren't many people who will just sit around and live off the female's income. There will always be some. They were there since the dawn of time but I don't think there are more and growing.

What is not fair about this? I have been home for a long time. If my man needs or wants to be home for a while riding the gravy train, well? Let him. I was worth it for so long and why not him? If we can afford it for a while. If It works out he wont want to stay home long and he will get the itch to get out and improve his self or situation if need be. But until then hell ya I'm going to enjoy someone Else's cooking instead of my own. And help with the laundry? Sheesh, you need to ask? My man is going to be home for a while. Me? I will come home to a bath waiting, dinner on the table, and OH YEAH, the bed rolled down waitin for Ma Ma! Sleep in darlin, I'll be home soon!

It also depends on the type of woman the man is with. If the woman is a pushover and allows the man to just sit and wait for the money to come then its not entirely the man's fault. Also, its the type of man that the woman chose to be with.

Seems to me that alot of women sell themselves cheap. To me, if a man has no self respect ,why have him? This is a reflection on the woman as well as the man. Men who have no self respect are obviously with woman who have no self respect.
