Just don't use it. There is no recipe that actually needs msg. If you really want something to substitute it with,the closest thing is salt.

Since monosodium glutamate gives many people headaches, it is not usually used in restaurants anymore. Since MSG is a flavor enhancer, I think that when good, flavorful and in-season ingredients are used, a flavor enhancer is not needed.

Sugar. Just a teenie wee bit will do.

If not, a bit of light soy sauce can also do the treat. I presume. Hehehe.
