theres this guy in my class that likes me and thinks i'm really cute. he even called me "cute girl" in front of the whole class. he is always flirting with me( from far away) and (without ever talking). he makes it really obvious to me that he likes me and i've heard him say things to his friends about asking me out. i know he's really shy but why can't he just come up to me and talk to me? maybe i'm doing something wrong that says i don't like him(even though i do)........it's so confusing...........

whenever a guy is that shy you have to make the first move. frustrating, i know. but if you don't this will go no where. i have felt like a guy liked me, and i got tired of waiting for him to become un-shy, so i ended up saying something first. all three times ive done it its worked - and the last one turned into a long relationship so its definitely worth it to get over his "shy-cause-i-dont- know-you-very-well" stage. usually these kinds of guys will be thrilled that you like them, and will open up pretty quick. good luck!

he should make the approach that's his job. you just have to sit back and wait. ( guys get nervous a lot ) you can say hi to him when he passes by this encourages him.
