This is a complicated issue and there is a lot of information about it. These are the different Eating Disorders
* Anorexia Nervosa
* Bulimia Nervosa
* Binge-eating Disorder
* Eating Disorder Not Otherwise Specified (ED-NOS)
* Other eating disorders including
o Compulsive (over)eating
o Compulsive Exercising
o Body Dysmorphic Disorder
o Night Eating Syndrome
o Sleep Eating Disorder
o Pica
o Prader-Willi Syndrome
Mostly women will develop these disorders, while men concentrate on maintaining an athletic appearance.
While anorexia is the illness that tends to receive the most media attention, bulimia is far more common, affecting around 1%-2% of women aged between 15 and 40 years of age. Anorexia is estimated to affect between 1 and 5 women in every 100,000, normally developing in the teenage years. Around 5% to 10% of all cases of anorexia are boys.
Unfortunately around 15 % progress into fatal outcomes, so it is very important to get help right away.

Eat nourishing food with plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables being part of it. Chew each morsel at least 32 times. This will activate signal to the brain as soon as u have had enough. Besides this change in eating style, take regular light exercises and brisk walks every day. U will be able to gain/shed all extra weight gracefully and in a reasonable time span. No food or drink in between the food and not more than three meals a day, unless u r diabetic.
