IF YOU CONSIDER YOURSELF A TRUE CHRISTIAN OR CATHOLIC, THEN YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO LOOK UP FOR THESE CHAPTERS AND VERSES IN YOUR BIBLE. THINK ABOUT WHAT YOU HAVE READ AND ANALIZE LIKE A RATIONAL INTELLIGENT PERSON AND ASK YOURSELF "DOES GOD REALLY EXIST?" IF YOU ARE NOT ABLE TO COME UP WITH A CONCLUTION IS EITHER, YOU DON’T THINK OR YOU ARE STUPID.

numbers 31:17-18 "Now therefore kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman that hath known man by lying with him.But all the women children, that have not known a man by lying with him, keep alive for yourselves."

Isaiah 13:16-18 "Their children also shall be dashed to pieces before their eyes; their houses shall be spoiled, and their wives ravished. ehold, I will stir up the Medes against them, which shall not regard silver; and [as for] gold, they shall not delight in it. [Their] bows also shall dash the young men to pieces; and they shall have no pity on the fruit of the womb; their eye shall not spare children.

Your point is absolutely and unequivocally incontrovertible to every RATIONAL INTELLIGENT PERSON on this planet. Unfortunately, none of them are christians. They've had hundreds of years to come up with desperate 'explanations' for stuff like this. The answers are inane, absurd and insult the intelligence of every person with even a modicum of common sense, but they'll continue to present them because it's all they got.

You have to read the entire account not just a few scriptures and do research on the situations. These judgments were pronounced against nation that prosecuted Gods people and pulled them away from true worship to God.
The population was destroyed (including the children) so that retaliation would not be possibly on their part during any time period and as a sign of Gods protection to His loyal ones.
Bringing these foreigners into the presence of God would result in pollution of true worship with the false beliefs of the other nations; something detestable to God and against His laws.
In Numbers, they spared the young virgin girls because these could be cleansed and taught the laws of God, thereby later being able to became wives to the Israelites.

God does exist. It's our imperfect understanding of Him that brings doubt.

Now back up and read the whole chapter. You can't judge a book or God by reading one or two verses and taking them out to stand alone as proof of any thing. How many times were these people warned that if they didn't repent they would be destroyed?
How many times did God send in the Prophets to warn them and these people killed the Prophets!
NO God is not evil! But these are evidence of what happens when you cross him.
By the way there is only one God!
Whether Jewish, Christian, Islam or Hindu. There is only one God ruling in the Heavens.

Nope, it isn't a cult in any respect. you'll locate lots of those who have self belief strange theories made up through folk that hate faith or Catholics or Jesus. some human beings purely are ignorant and no human being has ever given them a e book to analyze the actuality. The Catholic Church is the most important deepest charity interior the united states and on earth. that is responsible for inventing the health midsection and the college. it is the first and unique faith of Jesus Christ. All different religions that even renowned Jesus to be God has its roots in Catholicism circuitously. The the different way up bypass is something very real and something you may analyze. that is named the bypass of St. Peter. St. Peter become martyred/murdered for his faith and become to be crucified clone of Jesus become. He knew he become no longer worth and didn't wish to be killed interior of a similar way. He requested to be crucified the different way up. That ended up occurring. Now you're prepared to work out the position some tidbit of real thoughts will be grew to change into into some idea that Catholics are evil and devil worshippers because they do something strange. that is purely strange if the guy does no longer understand their heritage and the wealthy traditions of the Catholic Church. It appears like you have an interest in studying more suitable. i'd inspire you to bypass confer with a priest about any questions you've or ask one of your Catholic associates or acquaintances to take you to Mass with them. there are a selection of issues to income about the Catholic Church. a faith that has been round for 2 thousand years has a wealthy sacred custom of prayers and rites that must be very interesting. Even tremendous Catholics do not continually understand each little element of why we do issues a particular way. don't be afraid, there is no longer something about worshipping devil or doing something creepy or scary.

A rational intelligent person would know that the Book of Numbers and the Book of Isaiah were written centuries before the dawn of Catholic Christianity.

Rational intelligent people know that, if you are going to try interpreting OT text, you have to do it in light of the NT.

You you said, it takes a rational intelligent person to understand these things

The little ones - Which they were forbidden to do to other people, Deuteronomy 20:14, except the Canaanites, to whom this people had equaled themselves by their horrid crimes, and therefore it is not strange, nor unjust, that God, the supreme Lord of all mens lives, who as he gives them, so may take them away when he pleaseth, did equal them in the punishment. Every woman - Partly for punishment, because the guilt was general, and though some of them only did prostitute themselves to the Israelites, yet the rest made themselves accessary by their consent or approbation; and partly, for prevention of the like mischief from such an adulterous generation.

Few words...

God said, "As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts. Isaiah 55:9

and, "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways," declares the Lord. Isaiah 55:8

You may think yourself wise & expert but it would be foolish to place your confidence in such matters.

Do those verses make you uncomfortable about a righteous God and how he sees sin? Maybe the LORD isn't as much of a sugar daddy as some would have us believe.

BTW if Jesus can be taken at his word about what Hell is like, maybe it's time to pay attention rather than tossing it all out the window, don'tcha think?

Yes , God destroys the wicked and their spawn. You obviously don't think or you are stupid. You take words out of context and try to act intelligent for doing so, that is so idiotic. Try reading the book for a change.

In some religion, they preaches that "if those who do not believe"... shall be eaten... and eaten they shall be... it sounds like if fits and rhymes into the verses you've mentioned. And to remind you, Abraham is the man for such revelations.
Hold your peace, you should have let the Lions have their shares and don't be so grumpy about it that you would not even allow us, humans, to have our fills among them. What are you... vegetarian?

Confusing, right? Sound very cruel, right? How the Loving God could give such things. But that does not prove that God does not exist. I agree you have put forwards a point of discussion.
