See your family Chiropractor. Any chronic pain is a sign that something is wrong. Your best bet is to see a specialist to help you find and fix the CAUSE of your pain.

Best wishes and good luck.

When u lie down put a heat pad under there if u have one if not you should be able to buy some at ur local drug mart. Take 2 advils the pain ones not the flu ones oviously lol. Put pillows under your legs about 2 of them but make sure ur legs arent to high. Relax your back dont be to tense. Watch something on tv you like and get your mind off it and just go to sleep and hopefully it will be better by tommorow if not go see your doctor. Hopes this helps.

If you are lying on your back, put large cushion (several pillows, a couch pillow, something!) under your knees to raise them up some until you find comfort.

If you are laying on your side, get a body pillow and put one leg over the top of it or just put a regular or large pillow between your knees while you are on your side. Sometimes doing this and getting a body pillow and wedge it behind you also gives great relief.

And if you like to lay on your tummy, put a pillow under your hips.

Depends on the cause.

If it's a syatic nerve that is pinched, getting the muscle where it's hurting to relax by applying heat, may help.

Seeing a chiropractor can help as well.

Degenerative Disks can cause pain, as can arthritis.

I'd suggest first knowing the cause or you could make it worse.

I HOPE YOU FEEL BETTER SOON!

Sounds like a pinched nerve. I have the same problem. You go to lay down and it feels like a sharp shooting pain. I would suggest
stretching some and applying some heat. But you really need to see a doctor to find the source of your back pain and try and find
treatment.

Depends on what is causing the pain. Could be too hard or too soft a bed, could be a spinal maladjustment. Ask a doctor.

Chiropractors will always find something wrong that requires a life-time of treatment/adjustments. Try Yoga, that is what the Chiropractors that I have known do for their health.

Lie on your side and throw your leg (the one on top) over a pillow. I use a body pillow, but any pillow will do. This will help support your hips and keep your lower back straight.

I don't think it's got anything to do with the scoliosis, but it might. However, I get the same pains and I do not have scoliosis. I've never been bothered enough to ask my doctor about it. It sounds like it's really bothering you, so you should talk to your doctor.

I sleep with a hot water bottle in the crook of my back when it's really bad. You can buy heat bean bags in the pharmacy that you throw in the microwave. These are good too.
You can see your doctor and physio and chiro practer etc
but they can get expensive. Start small and eliminate if necessary.

Perhaps it's time for a new mattress. Have you flipped it recently? Also, you might want to see a doctor because chronic back pain can be a sign of something serious.
