She wanting to tell me, which I adored her honesty... I know her pretty well, so I know she won't be 'riding' him behind my back, but now I feel uncomfortable that I am not able to go to the next school dance which is a formal, and so I gave him the okay to take someone else. She quickly volunteered! I know she wouldn't try anything or him either... but my imagination is going wild, it doesn't help that she lives with him and she's a polite, loving Christian girl.
How can I feel better... and maybe have peace of mind?

if ur bf is trustworthy then nothing bad will happen... and she may appear to be a "loving Christian girl" but maybe that's cuz she hasn't had him alone yet... you just have to ask yourself if ur bf is honest and trustworthy and if you answer yes then nothing will happen at that dance that you don't want to happen!

Get rid of him? You are in the middle of a love triangle, whether you know it or not. Why would he let her live with him? Do things for him? Go to the dance with him? His response should have been, "that would not be appropriate." ---you are in for some heartache if you let this continue as it is.....speaking from experience!

unfortunately trust is all you can do and easing your mind isn't something that will happen. Chances are they may hook up and you might not know just keep your eyes and ears open and watch out for the signs. good luck maybe you will be a lucky one and he will be faithful.

Does he know she likes him? Since she has feelings for him do you really think it's ok for him to take her out? Are yo uready for that? Do you trust him? Take that into account. If you can't trust him and he takes her then you need to move on.

if he loves you he wouldnt go out and cheat on you with her and if he loves you he would LOVE to go to the dance wit you and not her or if you were to still not to go he would stay with you that day/night and he'll be there but if he trust you you might want to trust him back but you cant always let him know you trust him cause then he'll take control and advantage of it and use it as an excuse........................

I would suggest having a talk with your boyfriend and explain to him your level of discomfort. But truth be told remember he is with you and not her so try not to come off as too jealous...a big turn off for guys.
