Yes, it does. When you buy the XTi, the only things you need to order seperately are a lens and a memory card.
The XTi itself comes with:
* a neck strap
* a video cable to hook it up to your tv for a slide-show
* a USB cable to hook it up to your computer and transfer pictures
* a rechargable battery
* the battery charger
* EOS Digtial Solution software
* and an instruction manual
The battery that comes with the camera has enough power to get you through hundreds of pictures on a single charge. If you think you could use a spare however, you can order one seperately.
