You need to ask your pediatrician if the fiber could be making your baby have large, hard-to-pass, stools.

Sometimes doctors will tell you the child doesn't need a laxative but needs a stool softener, and you shouldn't give your baby anything without checking first with the doctor.

Some extra applesauce or apple juice, other fruit juices, and other fruits (not bananas), as well as extra water often help get things moving. Most mothers know that adding, say, a jar of applesauce (or one of the small, snack-size, cups) and adding, say, a serving of toddler peaches each day would probably help.

Ask your pediatrician if it would help if you stopped giving your child fiber.

More water or drinks everyday!
Raisins or prunes or apples, really fruit of any kind.

Talk to your doctor before you use ANY over the counter product or an enema for a young kid.

Give your child more water, feed him a high fiber cereal like Raisin Bran. It's the simple things like that that keep my son regular

I use that also. I also give my daughter the Metamucill crackers- taste like Cinnamon. She loves them. Last time she ate both and pooped non stop for about a week.

More fruit in his diet should help, and if you can get him to eat it dried prunes are great. They are sweet so he should like them, I know my son does.
