To hide their evil. Christ says all things will be brought out into the open when we pass over, nothing will be hidden. These organizations hide because if their true colors and actions were unvaled they would be thrown down sooner. By just people.

You are exactly right, they all have something to hide, something that society does not approve of. Some of them may do good works at times but they protect their members even when one does something like rape or murder. Sadly many of the people in our society are members of a secret society that helped them get where they are today and many of them did things an ordinary citizen would not ever do for fear of jail time.♪

The power of evil is in secrecy. Evil hides in the dark where it can't be seen. When people's hearts have become so accustomed to the dark that they no longer can see evil then evil hides out in plain sight. Anyone who has the least amount of discernment can look around and see how much evil is hiding right under our noses. Most choose to have it so, but if they would desire in the least to see and be saved then all they would have to do is cry out to God in humble repentance and he would give them sight.

My coven is somewhat secret because we see no reason to advertise ourselves. We're listed on witchvox, but that's as far as we'll go in telling anyone about us. Plus our rituals were written by our own members and we wouldn't want outsiders plagiarizing them.
