Good question. The thruth is no. The reason is simple, no one I know could handle a such a philisopical debate. My friends tend to be superficial and boring at best but I love them nonetheless. The only person whom I think I could have an intelligent conversation with at this point is my husband. Sad reality but I got Yahoo answers to fill the void I guess.

If you're in Manila, there is this place known as Rizal Park or Luneta. Every Sunday evening, people of different walks of life gather in that place to debate on issues about politics and religion.
In my opinion, religious debate is better face to face than in Yahoo chat rooms or in other chat rooms. In a face to face debate, your opponent has no access to copy-paste articles in Wikipedia and in Google search.

Absolutely. Though I tend to cater the conversation to see what their tolerance level is with Atheism. I believe that there is no God, and debating that often is misunderstood as an atack on my debatee. But yes, I love to debate religion and how when you look at history it is easy to see that religion was man-made.

regarding God's Word and Will, I have never given a responc on YA that I have not already given in some face to face discussion or openly published elsewhere.... some disagree with me... but I stand by what I post.... I have been honestly shown to be wrong on ocasion... and I have learned from it... I do not hide behind YA... if I am to present God's Salvation Message I must do so openly... and I do so.

Absolutely. That is hilarious to see their face turn red like that. Most of the time, there is this one guy (evangelical Christian) who found out I support the idea of gay marriage being legal; I didn't think a face could turn that color. Purple can be kind of scary, I don't need a head exploding onto my shirt (blood can be tough to wash out).

Yes, I love debating people in real life. However it is hard to find people who like or want to debate religion or politics. You know, they are considered topics not discussed in polite company and all that.

ye....this isnt so much debating though as answering questions....a forum on religion and stuff would be more debating since the person who wrote the question can reply more to the answer

Not too often. I think that the only real reason why that is is that people won't give you 5 minutes face to face. But online, they'll talk to you about it for months!

No. That makes me uncomfortable to see the horror on people's faces. They get so upset and to keep face I just don't say anything at all
