If you aren't Infantry, you're not a soldier.

Combat support? Why would you want to do that? Are you fat and lazy? If so, then support is your place, but if you want to fight, and kill, and be a god among men, then by all means, man, try to be a soldier. The only kind there is - an infantry soldier. Hooah!

Stupid Marxist was NOT a Colonel in the Marine Corps. Look he spelled both of those wrong. Quit lying.
The other MOS's are not useless. You have aviators, jet mechanics, combat engineer, and a variety of others. Infantry is the toughest job of all though.

Don't be retarded. Every MOS plays an important, if not glamorous, role.
Try fighting a war without cooks and supply clerks. Without beans and bullets, you will lose very quickly.
"If you aren't Infantry, you're not a soldier" Ahh, such wisdom!
You must have scored at least a 37 on your ASVAB
"If you are not in the Marines then you are not the Best!!! First to Fight!!" <---Speaking as a former Kernel in the Marine Core, I agree 100%
Maybe you should have been a Chaplain's Assistant (aka Altar Boy)

The answer about bullets and beans only covers a small part of the number of people out there in the field with you. You have the guys who transport those bullets and beans as well as your mail. The guys in the motor pool who keep your vehicles and guns running and patch up your armaments. The communications people who not only call in air strikes and artillery, but supply the email feeds so you can communicate back home. How about the people in payroll and benefits administration who make sure you get paid, and the base medical personnel are their to take care of your wife and kids when they get sick.
I appreciate the fact that you have put your life on the line for my right to make these comments. But shame on you. You need to take a look around you realize your part of a very big team. You may think your the quarter back but you can't win the Super Bowl all by yourself.

So infantry soldiers, who fixes your tanks? Army Mechanics, and if you are injured, who takes care of you? The medics. Who makes sure you do not go hungry, the cooks. Every job has its purpose, wether or not you agree. They all do their part to make the Army function, and each job is needed.

Dude, did you just get out of AIT?
Remember, there's two other MOSs in your infantry platoon...
one of them is your line medic who keeps you alive after you get more holes in your body than God gave you, and the other guy is a 13F, a forward observer who is qualified to control ALL indirect fire support when it gets too rough for the infantry guys to handle.

You are not in the Military are you? Please think before you speak/write. Every MOS depends on each other, that is how we work, we are all one big TEAM. Without each other the Infantry would die.

I hope you think about your question next time you need a new pack, more ammo, a humvee that works, a ride in a truck plane or chopper, try to schedule leave, get MREs or anything else.
