It depends on the situation. But finally truth will prevail and win over false things. This is beyond any doubt. What you consider as lie may not be really a lie, if it is going to save a life. Again it cant be said in general, depends on the situation. It cant harm 100 people to save one life.

definitely the life saving is the better option. if it is that much needed then go for life saving but try to say the truth in the perfect time so that by this no one would be harm ful, so keep watching for correct oppertunity.

no life can be saved through lying it may be saved temporarily but in later on stages it could become dangerous for so many lives.one single lie would give birth to so many lies and you will become lier.i do not know which situation you are thinking , think it for long time .that is only wisdom.
