If you are a citizen of a visa waiver country, you can stay for a maximum of 90 days. If you have a US visa, you can stay until the date stated on the I-94 card in your passport.

from most countries u need a visa...however if your country lets u in here with a passport its probably only like 2 weeks your allowed....or as long as you want until you get caught.

If you are here just for a vacation, I believe you can only stay in the US, legally, for 90 days. Depending on your country of origin, you may be able to extend your visa.
