To me i believe age gaps don't matter..Me and my husband are 8 years apart and we get along fine and communicate fine with things..And my mother and her husband(step dad) are 20 years apart and they are the 2 most in love people i have ever met and they are so intune to each other...So i think it all really depends on the people and how they act mainly..

also i agree with grenadia(sp) with older couples over 18 i believe it's ok but if you are under 18 it should really be up to the parents

Not for some things, but I say for a relationship, anything over 10 years is too much ---more than 10 years and there is a 'generation' gap, you didn't watch the same TV shows, you didn't have the same growing up experience, you don't have nearly as much in common---it's too hard to communicate with someone of a different generation.

It depends as you get older the gap can get bigger, but yeah it matters for the most part.

Well the bigger the gap, the more that will be needed to make it work. However if you both want it to it can.

Absolutely, but only when you both get older. When you are younger, it doesn't matter one bit.

not always. it depends on the age difference and background and beliefs. mostly if you are willing to work through the diffferences you have.
