I recently got dumped by my girl of 3 years and it got to where we said some nasty things to each other and after a month of silence she calls me late last night just wondering what i was doing. I was not very responsive but then all of a sudden she said i gotta go and hangs up. Whats up with that?

She was just being noisy trying to find out if you are dating someone else. The next time she calls, just yell out, "it's for me honey, go back to bed". That should shut her up but that is only if you want to get rid of her. If you still have the hots for this girl, then tell her so and see what happens.

She was only talking to you until some better opportunity came along (either that or her parents came home). People who speak nasty to each other should stay away from one another, when the nasty talk takes place, all respect is gone ---and this is something that's just as hard to get back (if not harder) than trust.

Sounds like maybe she thought twice about leaving you. Leave the past behind you, now that doesnt mean that you should ignore what happened and not learn from it it just means that maybe you should talk out some issues now that you are less angry with eachother and maybe things will work out between you two. Give it a try.
PS: try to talk to her in person it makes it seem like you are more interested... its better. peace

3 years is a long time to throw away....call her back and give her a chance to say her peace. She probably misses you.
Break ups are always hurtful and many things can be said out of anger, not because they are true.

3 Years its a long time and she hasnt been able to get over it as yet and IF you want her back this is the right time to move forward. BUT if you dont just leave the way it is and it will soon heal automatically.
