I would think it would not be a good idea to chew while wisdom teeth are cutting through. Since you literally have an open wound, so to speak, you would not want tobacco down in this area because it might cause the area to be infected and then you would really be miserable. Try rinsing your mouth out with warm salty water every few hours and purchase something like oragel or ambesol to help ease the pain.

Id give it a few days if I were you. You wouldn't want all that crap getting up inside of your gums. I know my friend got a wisdom teeth pulled and the dentist told him not to smoke for a few days. Id ask the dentist if I were you.

Just try it. If it does, spit it out. I was doing Copenhagen at the time and I can't remember. I really don't think it'll bother you.

Nope it will just give you a bad taste in your mouth. Not to mention tongue cancer or cancer of the mouth. Talk to your dentist
