They will force Bush to finally realize no one wants this war but him and his buddies. They can now cut funding and start investigations and if we are lucky, start impeachment hearings!

They will not change it unless they can rewrite the Constitution.
The Constitution made the President, the Commander In Chief, & gave him the final say over the troops during war time(review President Washington's life). The Congress is after media time & puffing out their chest. Congress already voted to send troops to Iraq, there is not a provision for oops I decided I voted wrong in Congress. They know that & that is why they keeping trying to pass watered down provisions that say retoric & have no change in the war. A chastetisement for the Republic President from a Democratic Congress. No surprise there!
I am very disappointed to have the United States have so many of its citizens show such a lack of respect for our President & such a lack of unity in front of the world.

Unfortunatley, the dems can not change Bush's so called "strategy" in Iraq. All they can do is offer alternative "plans" which are completely ignored and vote to fund the war or not, which is a lose/lose situation. If they vote to not fund it, it will force a withdrawal but they'd be criticized for not supporting the troops. If they do vote to fund it, we end up "staying the course". They have no power.. It's all up to Dubya...

Strategy . . . now there's an interesting way to describe the situation. I would kind of lean toward "this is another fine mess you've gotten us into" but that line is already taken. 100 dead today. More tomorrow. I don't see much point in sending more troops to the killing fields. Unless you plan on killing a good percentage of the Arab race, it doesn't seem possible to ever eliminate these murderers of innocents. We should protect our own borders, not put ourselves in harm's way. The idea of a democratic Iraq is not one I pin a lot of hopes on. At best, Iraq will be another theocracy.

Nothing will change the President's strategy in Iraq. He himself seems to be in dark on end results of the great mess of Iraq that he had got into unwittingly!

Dems know nothing about standing up against nations like Iran, North Korea, terrorists, so don't expect anything except pissing, moaning and crying about Bush because Bush will stay the course.
