Body language tells you everything unless your blind. If she is all over you and does not let go. For example if she bites her lips or licks them while your watching her that can be a sign.

DONT ASK. I have talked to many women who find that very unatractive and lame. There is a way easier way. If your alone then just kiss and make out and keep kissing and see where the hands go and take it from there. I mean if you cant tell if he/she is ready then I dont know what to say. But kissing with passion will lead to some hands wondering hands and then to some grabbing you are the only one who knows how far you want to take it. and if your ready just let it happen and it goes the othr way as well. but if you feel some resistance or some neglect then back off. They are not feeling it. thats whay i have gone for and it has worked out perfectly.

I'll make it quick then... If you have a open, honest relationship...(recommended) then just ask her. If not ask her best girl-friend to ask her in a sideways way in a private converstation. Recon basically.
Or take a less subtle apporoach and lay moves on her. Don't whip you **** out but start with massaging her back and kiss her on her neck. See where it goes from there. If she doesn't send signals after that then give up and settle for no sex.
