Do not worry so much. It would take an average of ten days before you get sick from him besides you might have been exposed when he did but have a stronger immune system. Washing your hands and not touching your face helps also. Remember to drink plenty of fluids with your vitamins and get some sleep.

The stomach flu is a virus. As with most viruses (I never say all because I might have missed something somewhere), once you have had that strain your body builds up an immunity to it and you can't get it again. The common cold is not a single virus you get over and over again. There are HUNDREDS of strains of the common cold.
If you have had that strain of stomach flu sometime in the past, you won't get it.
Your roommate's been gone for 5 days? Have you actually been exposed to the virus? It doesn't normally take long for it to show up after exposure, so if you're not sick now, chances are you won't get sick.
By the way, exposure to bacteria helps you build up a tolerance for and eventually resistance to some things. If you never go into the sunlight, does it surprise you when you get sunburned when you do have to be out? Sterilizing has its uses, but too much anti-bacterial soap and the germs build up a resistance of their own, lol.

You should have gotten a flu shot. Wash your hands frequently and spray some Lysol spray on the surfaces he may have touched.

Nope, hopefully not. If you take your vitamins every day, drink lots of water, and keep your immune system up, then probably not. Unless you kissed him on the lips. If you did that then you are screwed.

No hopefully not for sure.
If yor really clean then you lessen the chance of you getting it ALOT.
The vitamins will also help boost your defense system.
Since you were precautious, you might get lucky here!
Best of luck.

No. If he got the symptoms 5 days ago, you are past the virus' incubation period in your body.
You would have the symptoms by now.
