Everyone seems to have a favorite, it is interesting to me the reasons behind it.......I love them all, but I believe my favorite is the story of Daniel.

I love the prodigal son. It's so reassuring that after all the wrongful things he's done the father still forgave him. It's is so very much true.

Luke 1 and 2... even more now than ever after seeing the movie The Nativity Story... The Faith required of Mary and Joseph has always been an inspiration.

I like the story of Joseph. Thrown into the well by his brothers, so wouldn't it have been nice of God to have made the well disappear so Joseph couldn't have been thrown into it? But God did not stop it. Then Joseph was put in slavery, but God did not stop it. Then false testimony came up against Joseph, and God could have stopped it but he did not, then Joseph was put in prison, and God. But Joseph ended up accomplishing something great and saving his family, and a multitude of people. Thus, although God might have been able to stop those unfortunate things that happened, he let them occur because he knew that in the long term, good would result.

I also like the story of Judah and Tamar. It shows the hypocrisy of Judah in condemning Tamar to death when he was in fact guilt of the act and thus he rightly should have condemned himself to death. It shows how people are eager to cast judgment on people without realizing they are deserving of judgment too.

Rebekah meets the servant for Isaac at the well and waters the camels. Genesis 24. Love it as its a beautiful typeology of the willing bride (rebekah) holy spirit (unnamed servant) Jesus (Isaac the son seeking a bride that the Holy spirit draws) and Abraham the Father (G-d, owns everything, seeking a bride for His son)

Blessings

Daniels is great and all of them are but I like the story when Elijah and Elisha are traveling through the canyon and the whole army is in front of them and Elisha gets scared and Elijah prays Lord open his eyes and let him see that there is more with us than with them and then God opened his eyes and he could see chariots of fire full of war angels surrounding them and read to fight for them! Actually I have two that I really like. The one where god sends a great flood to kill everyone is #1 and #2 is the story of Lot where he tortures Lot and kills all of his family and animals.

There is one other though and it's the one where Lot's daughters get him drunk and have sex with him.

I have always liked the good Samaritan.

Why? I don't really know why. I just liked that story, I believe in positivity and love. Like attracts like, so if your nice to people it comes back to you.

Luke 7, the Faith of the Centurion, his servant was sick and dying and the Centurion went to Jesus to ask Him to heal the servant, Jesus said He would and was going to go to the centurions house, but the centurion told Him that he didn't deserve to have Jesus in his house, he said all Jesus had to do was say the word and the servant would be healed, the centurion had so much faith in Jesus, his servant was healed by the time he got back to his place, that's one of my all-time favorite Bible stories.

The story in John chapter 8, about the woman taken in adultery. She was caught in her sin.... deserving death in accordance with the law... but Jesus stepped in..... and gave her what he has given each of us.... forgivness and a second chance.... He showed the people the error of their ways for condmening her for what many of them had done themselves..... and he lifted her up from a very low spot in her life... probably the lowest spot in her life.... and he forgave her and set her back on her feet.

God bless you
