Work is probably best in the Denver metro area. There aren't any requirements at the state level, might want to check on each county you would want to work in though. Theres some info in the links.

I stand corrected, not all states regulate but you will have difficulty doing anything outside your home county unless bonding, licensing and credentials are in order.
