After a year, the appetite usually goes down, and according to my son's dietician (that we've been seeing since he was 11 months) at one year, it should be all table food, you shouldn't even be trying the baby food anymore. The guidelines that the pamphlet she gave us says: feed 3 food groups for breakfast, 2 for snack, and 4 for lunch and dinner. (food groups are grains, vegetables, fruit, milk, and meat/protein) It also says that the suggested serving size is 1tbsp. per year of age. Offer this much and then more if the child still wants more. IF she is at least eating that much, you have nothing to worry about. If not, give it a week or so, it might just be a temporary thing. If her appetite doesn't pick up, and she isn't gaining weight or is losing it, see the doctor, who might refer you to a dietician. Good luck.

That is normal since she is old enough for normal or table food. Usually at this stage they want real foods. And at 1 year baby food is not that recommended. What i do for my daughter for breakfast I make pancakes without the sysrup and squeeze fresh orange juice. I always keep stocks of french fries or hasbrown, hotdog, noodles and soup. And for snacks she just love flavored yogurt. You can also include in her diet boiled vegetable and fresh fruit which is cut into strips like carrots. zuccini, cauliflower, strawberry, pear, apples etc. When eating try to eat with her as a family. Sometimes eating alone makes them bored. And if she did'nt ate much it's okay as long as she gets enough milk. Try also giving her vitamins, ask your pedia before giving her though. And if she really is not interested in eating solids, check maybe she is teething that's why she is loosing her appetite.

Wow, be satisfied he exceeded a penny! it particularly is exceedingly cool for a one 12 months previous! He won't be able to get copper poisoning from a pair of pennies. If he swallowed an finished roll perhaps yet that would bring about different issues first previously copper poisoning! He probably purely doesn't experience properly, there have been issues going round. I purely were given over something and that i did not eat for a good 24 hours! If he become blocked up or something then he will be vomiting because his nutrients/drink would have nowhere to bypass! at the same time as unclear call your Dr. for sure, yet I probably doesn't hardship. If this retains for a lengthy time period although then you ought to get to the inspiration of the reason!

My son went throught the same thing. First I limited his juice intake, I found that the more juice he drank, the less food he ate. Also, I bought the Pedisure drinks for toddlers. They have all the nutrition and my son thought it was chocolate milk. They now also have the pedisure granola bars that he loves. I did find the one food my son would eat, and that's all he ate for a couple of months. But at least he was eating. He is 2 now, and his appetite is just now improving. Hang in there, it gets better.

Give her milk. Don't make a huge issue out of her eating habits-it's a power play. She sees that she can get you all blown up and antsy about it, and she has a weapon to use. She will get to the point where she sees it's not an issue and she will eat & try something else.
Don't worry-feed her whatever she will eat in whatever quantities she will eat and don't make a big deal out of it. Good luck! They get even more devious as they get older!

dont give in2her/him or they wont eat and fill up on milk which should be limited to about 24 oz by now in order for her to get nutrition thru food- remember their stomachs r small (bout the size of their fist) so it dont take much to fill them up- when he/she is hungry theyl eat- dont push or itl have a negetive effect on eating habits
