Good stuff. You are in touch w/ your feelings - surprise, God made those as well.
The people are right - their timing stinketh. Sure God will fix all things - that is why Jesus is coming back. God, however, doesn't operate on the same timetable and so the "fix everything" doesn't help when you are hurting like you are.
It sounds like you have to use your anger to get beyond some grief work. Your ex acted like a jerk. You have to go through the dirt of grieving the death of a relationship while he/s 24/7. Ugly.
His mom means well, but she has been telling herself that line for as many years as she had her own man. It won't do you any good for hell to punish him and Mom doesn't wear Judge Judy's robes anyway.
If you are waiting around to see him fry before you feel satisfaction, then my guess is God will leave him in the gravy for as long as it takes for you to learn forgiveness. Your bitterness isn't hurting your ex - just you.
Your # reads like God is your local short order fix all Cook. Order up 1 ex well done, make my life easy over street, extra cream. Never feel bad about questioning God cf. Job, just realize it's God's job to decide the answers.
Oh - and I see lots. I see a saint struggling out a smothering view of her self into a radiant blossom.

The say have faith because God will take what the devil meant for evil and turn it around for the good of those who love him! First God did you a favor getting you away from some scrub who after 7 years wants to party go with the hoes, Girlfriend God has removed this unholy scrub away from his little girl! Hallelujah, with a little faith you will see this and never pick up the phone again or dial his number, he is headed for a way of life that is a whirlwind and God is saving you from the scrub! Go read your bible and see that Jesus is the real man in your life and he will give you the desires of your heart!

Have faith that YOUR life will get better and stop wasting time on him. He was given free will, same as you, so do something about YOUR situation. He is the maker of his own fate. Pray for him but pray for yourself to MOVE ON!!!! God gives guidance, not quick fixes. He need to see God for himself. In response to part 2...no offence...but why do you blame everything on God? God gives no man a cross he cannot bear. So change your circumstance. Start thinking positively. "The meek shall inherit the earth..."

Forget the ex - if you've prayed for him for seven years, you've done your best already.

Stop beating yourself up and wondering why God won't do what you want. Work on getting your own head straight - please get some counselling. You can start with your local priest or minister if you are a churchgoer.

You'll have to fix your own life yourself, but you *can* get help.

Have faith in youself. If sufferings are there in your life, take them positively. Hammer of bad times shatters glass not Iron. As the hammer bangs, Iron takes a new form.

They'll tell you that god in his wisdom has better things for you in the future.
If you are religious, then you should believe that.
