I thought my husband posted this!! I have the same thing, so instead of fighting it, I bought some nice warm tights. The funny thing is she tells her dad he can not be a princess b/c he does not wear a skirt. This is too funny!

Have you thought about having her wear something that you could tell her means she is still a princess, such as a sticker, a ribbon, or maybe even a crown :) She will eventually grow out of this stage. Make sure to exaggerate how she is and looks like a princess once she gets on the jeans on. Just my thoughts on this- hope it helps.

Why don't you get her some leggins or tights to wear with her dresses....or buy a toy tiara and let her only wear it when she wears her pants....that way everyone will know that she is a princess

tell her lots of princesse's wear pants, so they can keep thier legs warm! promise her that if she wears pants when she has to go outside, that she can wear a skirt when she's inside.

Maybe you could take her shopping and let her pick out some pants that she likes. Take her somewhere where'd they have a large selection of pretty, "girlie" styles... ruffles on the hems, sparkles on the pockets, pretty prints, etc... maybe if she picks them out herself, she will want to wear them.
