When my kittens were doing that I put the toilet paper roll in a wastebasket near the toilet and they couldn't bother it there. In another bathroom I sort of got used to using torn up pieces of tp for my use!

They do grow out of it eventually.

Get a 2 liter plastic pop bottle and cut it to fit the toilet paper roll with a slit and that will keep the cat from shredding the paper.

i understand there's a bathroom paper roll conceal for sale, it particularly is a very last hotel actual. If flipping the roll to unwind any incorrect way (from the lower back) doesn't artwork, attempt wrapping somewhat of velcro round it to act as a cinch so it gained't unwind. you should get some chewed edges, although the velcro will be person-friendly to get rid of once you want to apply the lavatory paper and is no longer too a lot of a difficulty.

You can't train a cat out of this, although as cats get older, the toilet paper is less likely to be attacked. I keep the toilet paper on top of the tank. TP hanging on the wall is a cat magnet. I still occasionally find a bathtub full of shredded TP. As cat toys go, it's fairly inexpensive.

You might want to move the litter box. I don't know of any cat that doesn't shred the toilet tissue roll. It is like a toy to them and just having fun. It is hard to put the roll up, then it is unhandy for you, and cats can climb anywhere.Good luck sweety.

either face the roll the other way, or put the toilet paper in a cabinet where he cant get to it. leave an empty roll on the holder, so he can still play with it. mabye you could even write a little note on the empty roll to let your visitors know where the toilet paper is hidden. i did this, it helped alot! i got alot of chuckles from people when i had to explain why the toilet paper had to be found with a map on the empty toilet paper roll..LOL

I've done it many times and enjoyed the hell out of it. I'd always tear it to shreds. I don't think my master was too happy about what I had done. I am, after all, a cat. When my master came home he just put the thing up where I didn't feel like going to get at it any more.

LOL. wow. yeah i feel your pain. i never used to catch mine doing it so i couldnt really yell at her for it. but for awhile i was going through AT LEAST one roll per day just w/ her. However by the time she reached like 8 months... she was bored with it. Its a phase and he'll grow out of it. if not...get one of those toilet paper covers you see in rich ppl's houses.

ha ha ha its cute and funny the first few times but cleaning it up isn't...

I had to start putting the toilet paper on top of the tank and after a couple months I put it back on the roll and she hasn't done it since.

Hi there...consider reversing the toilet paper roll's direction so that the paper doesn't unravel or placing it in a location where your cat is unable to reach it for awhile so that he forgets about it.
