Sweetie
You need to talk to your mom and ask her why you and she can never get along. One thing for sure, don't try to grow up to fast. I know it is cliche, but take it from me, I am 35, there is plenty of time for growing up. I think you are certainly at an age where you and your mom should have a more adult like relationship. Just remember to be treated like an adult, you need to act like one. Good Luck!!!

Obviousely your doing something that youe mom dosent approve of. Your sixteen and youa only have three more years to realy put up with it but you might as well do something now. Sit her down and say that you know you are not perfect and you never will be but obviousely you are mature enough to want to do something about the mistakes you are making. Show her how grown up and responsible you can be. Follow the directions she gives you and dont rebell. Parent are there to keep you alive and teach you. Listening to them will get you more freedom than you think!!

Let her know you've grown up and you're not that child you used to be 5 years ago show her how you feel. Prove to her you're not a child anymore but not an adult either. Show her you could do things now that you couldnt do years ago.

hun, you need to talk to your mom and tell her you are growing up and that she cant stop you from everything. is she going to treat you like a child when your 18, 28?!? no she is not! you need to tell her that. she is overprotecting you... and you shouldnt have to deal with that all the time. your mom needs to get it ion her head that you might be her kid but your not a child any more. your a young man.

You're sixteen and I bet there is more to her reasons then what you're telling us. Just act like you have to do what she says to gain her trust and I almost guarentee in a matter if weeks she loosen up.
