I love my bf alot and I want him to love me too. He is so sweet to me and tells me I'm beautiful and that he cares for me and really, really likes me. He spent the whole weekend with me and tries to do things with me I enjoy doing. I'm scared because although he says he really likes and cares for me he wants to go slowly and does not feel the same intensity that I do yet. He told me to give it time and I will but I'm just worried that maybe he'll never feel for me the way I do for him. He didn't call me tonight after we spent the weekend together and it hurts because I love him. Is this typical guy behavior?

I'm newly single and haven't dated in awhile so I'm a little rusty and uncertain about everything. Thanks for any help (:

No, this is not a typical behavior of a guy. But this can happen in a given situation like this. You love him too much and you miss him too much. This is not a problem. But you are expressing everything, that's the problem. You shouldn't make yourself and your love easily available to him. Behave yourself in a way that he should miss you. Then you both will be in a balance. Iam not asking you to play dirty tricks or games, but keep some feelings and emotions within you. If you love someone and if you don't express everything, your face and the whole of you will shine in love and that will definitely attract him. No two person will be in the same level of love for each other, so don't hurt yourself if he is not missing you as much as you miss him. You need to balance it out by not controlling the love but by controlling the expression of it.

Yes, its typical of a guy, it's just certain guys don't want to hurt you or your feelings, because he cares about you so much. So just try and keep it slow, and later on it will progress.

Ya, i guess its normal for now. Guys like to have a bit space and get crazy when their girl gets pushy. It seems, you guys having it normal, but sorry to say, you are trying to push things, that's not cool ! you see, he obviously needs time and you just can't rush things or push him to any commitment, believe me, that's the worst thing you can do. just give him time, I'm sure he'll appreciate it.
