If you believe in God, do you think about his vastness and power and incomprehensible nature when you pray or are you thinking of a humanoid God who built the universe once and spent the rest of the time judging human creatures on every little mistake they made?

I think of God as anything, everything, and all that was and will ever be. I know that's hard to understand, but God is impossible to understand completely. I know God is a loving God. He forgives where forgiveness is asked for, but he also chastens those who do wrong. What kind of father lets their kids do whatever and only forgives but doesn't punish? God is perfect and has the perfect balance between forgiving and punishing. In general I think of God as a wise, vast, powerful being who cannot be pictured in the human mind. Hopefully this helped give a different opinion.

If you like to deslike those people who even dont say a "thank you" for any of your good deals to them. Then, why GOD should not judge for a silly mistake of you? While he is promised to you that you will be rewarded even a silly good deals?? Does not he let you all good things and bad things to judge yourself to understand what is right or wrong?? Does not he defer the humanity by giving this judging power from animals?? He cares us whether we deslike him or even dont thank him. But he will judge in this law, "Each Deal has a result. May be that would be a good result or a bad result"

You see, that's just the point.

How can we have any of this stuff without GOD? Besides God is not in any way human.

Don't you think he controls things today?
Hey it might look as if he had given up his responsibility, its just that humans do what they want to, and ignore the millions of messages he sends every day.

If we all stopped being angry with one another, and listened, really listened, the world would be a very different place.

I believe in the biblical God.. and obviously most do not know Him as they choose to think of Him as someone who spends all his time judging every little thing. I believe He spends more time helping people and forgiving them actually....
A true loving God would want to get rid of sin forevver..that is what He will do..He has tried and tried..but people are so hell bent on disobeying him and then crying foul when God has to punish.....I think most people want a God that they can manipulate and tell what to do.

When I pray, I kind of feel small and I feel that He is so great and awesome in His wisdom an power and glory. Nothing is impossible with God.He knows exactly what He is doing and us little humans can't even comprehend His view or the bigger picture. Like, what do the ants on the ground comprehend about us?

I sort of think of God/Goddess/Universe as the same thing. I think of God as a verb- a process. I grew up in a church that taught about a very judgmental God. It took many many years to learn to believe in a loving God. I'm very thankful that I was actually able to do it at all. God is of such vastness that it's actually peculiar in a way that we think we know anything at all about it/her/him. I do know that I don't want anyone to put me in a box so I'm positive the Source of All can not be.

I know God to be the creator of the universe, the one true God...yet a trinity of Father, Son and Spirit....each a person and that we can never totally understand. I know He loved me enough to save me by sending His Son to die in my place, and yours and that if I believe in His Son and accept that gift of salvation, I will one day spend eternity with Him. And yes...there will be a judgement day....but if you have chosen to love and trust His son, you don't have to worry about it and will instead be rewarded for what you have done for Him. Read John 3:16.
He is omnipresent....can be everywhere....He is omniscient....knows everything that is occuring....He is omnipotent....all powerful....and He loved us so much He wanted to save us from our own sin....so He provided His own Son to die in our place....the only way He could do it. Limiting? I don't think so. Knowing Him is the answer to life.
