intelligent design doesnt have anything to do with the purpose of life. did the designer (whoever you want that to be) make a purpose for life? I have no idea, i dont believe in a completely universal one. I think that the purpose of life is relative to the people living and it is the people living who must find their own purpose themselves.

To be happy and enjoy our company. Also to build many great wonders and have many amazing adventures. To have dreams and goals, because if our lives had no purpose how depressing would that be?

to explore what this intelligence has created and to explore who/what this intelligence is. those eventually lead you to the true purpose. i hope i won't have to reiterate what many people have already said the true purpose is.
