This is a very unsafe way of loosing weight. You will lose weight yes, but you will also lose muscle mass. And when you lose this weight and start eating normally again you will gain the weight back and more! Yeah, cause when you starve yourself your metabolism slows down, way down and that is not a good thing! You need to eat normal meals, with vegetables and fruits. You need to exercise to stay healthy and lose weight. The most you can lose safely is 1 or 2 pounds a week.

Absolutely not! At least not the kind of weight you would want to lose. When you eat the way you mentioned, your body will go into starvation mode and will store all your fat and begin to burn your muscles. Eventually you will lose weight, but only to the detriment of your entire body. You can become very sick eating just one tiny meal a day. You must eat something healthy every 3-4 hours to lose weight the healthy way.

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day because it gets you up and going for the day. An egg and some whole grain cereal such as Cheerios with skim milk and a piece of fruit or some fruit juice would be a good breakfast. Have a fruit or vegetable or some whole grain crackers midway between breakfast and lunch and then at lunch have something like lean turkey or chicken breast with some veggies and whole grain bread that you like and some low fat or very little regular dressing if you prefer something to dip your veggies in. You also need to be drinking lots of water. Midway between lunch and dinner have a dairy or protein product and some fruit and then for dinner have a small dinner with a protein, vegetables and possibly a whole grain roll or piece of bread.

Please don't continue to eat the way you have been. Believe me, I know it's not a good thing.

Best Wishes,
A

You probably could, but you'd be miserable and unhealthy. If you deny yourself foods, that's all you'll want. The only way to lose weight is to eat healthy and in moderation, and to exercise. You can have a cookie; just don't have 10. You can have potato chips, but have just a few, not the whole bag. Better yet, try baked chips (but still don't go overboard). And you don't have to eliminate carbs; just eat healthy ones by switching to whole wheat bread and pasta and such instead of white. That way the calories you're eating are healthy ones.

And exercising doesn't have to be hard-core or take a lot of time. Just try to add activity to your day. I work at a desk, which means 8 hours of sitting around immobile. So I try to do leg lifts and little crunches while I'm sitting there, just to add some activity where normally I would have none. Do leg lifts or squats while you're brushing your teeth. Every little bit helps.

Yes a first. but you are going to have to keep these little meals ups for the rest of your life. What happens is your body will adapt to the small meals and then think that is normal. If you then go back to eating normally then your body doesn't no what to do so it holds onto the food instead of digesting it. Eventually you will gain more weight then you lost. My advise is eat 3 small healthy meals a day and do more exercise. So as you burn off what you eat and are still healthy! You will also loss weight!

no, what your doing is starving yourself, which will cause your body to hold on to as much fat as it can. So don't worry so much about not eating a lot, its more about eating lots of the good stuff. the best way to cut your weight is to eat less carbs. Carbs are your bodies main energy source and if you eat less your body will start using your fat for energy, causing you to lose weight. You can eat all the fish and chicken you want as long as they not fried. Veggies and fruit a must. Stop eating a lot of bread, pasta, junk food. You can pick one day out of the weak to indulge yourself. Follow this you will lose weight. And 30 min exercise, 4 times a week wouldn't hurt

you will at first, but you'll notice over time your metabolism will slow down from too little calories.

The lowest you should go in a healthy weight loss is 1200, and that is already very low. I would recommend 1400.

You should really combine exercise and heatlhy eating to lose weight. You'll see the weight may come off slower, but it'll STAY OFF.

yea u can but all your losing is water weight and muscle weight. sooner or later cravings are going to hit in and your going to pig out and ur going to gian all the weight back and more, not to mention that by eating so little your body thinks its starving and ur metabolism slows down a lot making it even harder for you to lose weight. i went on a diet similar to that only allowing myself to eat 500 calories a day. i couldn't even go 2 weeks using this diet because i got completley sick nd started throwing up i dont even know what it was nd i looked all pale ( nobody wants to look sickly pale) so that plan doesnt work in the long run just for a few days

you are going to slow your metabolism down to starvation mode. You should eat more smaller meals like 5-6 stay away from a lot of carbs. take to a nutritionist to see what is right for you. when you don't eat your body stores the food you do eat as fat, because it does not know when you will eat again.

Maybe not because your metabolism needs stimulation to work at its full capacity. It thinks you are starving your body. You don't have to eat a lot, but eat 3 meals a day and eat a couple of healthy snacks and drink 48 ozs of water a day. Exercise if you can, but please don't eat such a small amount.
