I'm no 120lbs, but I do know that losing weight does take a lot of effort. Pizza and chocolate are definately not the healthiest choices... try to pick a low fat option like chicken instead of pizza and maybe an apple instead of chocolate. Sure, they're not quite as tasty, but you'll appreciate the nutrition when you lose those extra 10 lbs. A light exercise program is helpful... I realize you're doing the cheer thing, but sometimes that isn't what your individual body needs. Try some jogging for ten minutes every morning followed by some crunches. I have also found it helpful to have some activity twice a day. Studies * that I can't find right now * have shown that if you raise your metabolism with light exercise in the morning, it will help you burn your calories throughout the day, annnnd then taking a brisk walk or some other form of exercise in the evening will give you the kick your body needs to keep up your metabolism at night.
Another tip is to not eat a thing after dark. Its just a mental thing in case you have problems with midnight binging or something... : )
Overall your body DOES need a certain calorie level everyday. It needs something to burn along with fat. There are plenty of low fat options out there, it just takes a little willpower to overcome sudden cravings. The average american takes in 80 grams of fat a day... thats 50 grams over the healthful limit. Your body CAN burn 30 in a day with only mild exercise.

The vaginal pain may or may not be related to your diet distress. Depending on what you have been eating, the body produces an unhealthy amount of yeast. If there is an over production, this will lead to Candida Vaginitis, and there will be some unpleasant discharge. If this is the case, see your doctor and consider avoiding starchy carbohydrates. If your diet is still a problem, the physician would be able you give you some pointers and probably a healthy diet plan... but, along with diet pills, those are mostly recommended for the significantly overweight.

I hope this helped you miss lady... and remember, high school is going to be awesome no matter what. Just stay active and ALL the senior boys will just stop and stare at the lovely you.

Check this website: http://www.cdc.gov/nccdphp/dnpa/bmi/childrens_BMI/about_childrens_BMI.htm.

Your BMI is healthy, so you're healthy. If you want to look good, you don't want to lose weight, you want to get more toned. That means exercise. Some cardio will help, about half an hour a day of walking or running, plus lifting weights. Go to the gym teacher and ask for some exercises, or get video tapes from The Firm. It's not how much you weigh, it's whether you're toned. Also, lay off the garbage food (pizza, chocolate) except for one cheat meal a week. Focus on drinking water - 6-8 8 oz. glasses a day -- plus 2 servings of fruit and three of vegetables. And, vegetarian isn't just avoiding meat, it means balancing your protein, so you have to learn how to do protein complimentary meals, like rice with beans or peanut butter on whole wheat, so you get complete proteins each day.

Exercise will also help with your period, too, and your mood.

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.

I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.

It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.

Get started today!

I feel sorry for you that you let tv and magazines dictate to you on how you should look. Stop looking at those stupid women, because trust me, they hate themselves. They are miserable thats why they go through so many men and drink and do drugs. Love yourself, you have a long life ahead of you don't start out hating yourself!!!

you know, you really need to A) STOP WHINING! you're only 13! Your body has started to change! and YOU'RE STILL GROWING!
B) if you're whining now about your looks you'll be whining about them for the rest of your life, and you'll be miserable.
C) What kind of attention do you want? YOU'RE TOO YOUNG TO BE TRYING TO TALK TO BOYS!
and D) you may need to talk to your parents and a doctor about your REPRODUCTIVE ORGAN ISSUES. (if you're claiming cravings you may have had too much of the wrong kind of attention already!)
