The purpose of life is not to turn out like the dolphins.... so smart, but stuck where people litter on them all the time.... must really suck...

If evolution is NOT true what is the purpose to life? Evolution in no way says that there is no creator, it just says that if there is one then there is a certain way that things have been created. Evolution does say that certain gods do not exist because the earth is older than 6,000 years old, a woman was not made from a man's rib, dinosaurs and people didn't live in the same epoch...

Maybe the purpose to life is to work toward finding out how evolution works so we can understand the mechanism of a god or god's creation. Maybe we are supposed to find out how we relate to the Cosmos from which we came from. Maybe there is another world on top of ours much the same way red blood cells have no idea that they are actually part of a person. Maybe we are part of a god. Maybe there is a god but is more like the gods of ancient cultures and is a practical jokester, we are here for his/her/it's/their amusement. Maybe there is no god and no point. It may not be a pleasant thought but it is still just a likely as any other possibility.

The point is no one knows what our purpose is and anyone who claims to is wrong. We are far to primitive and need to undergo a lot more evolution of our minds and bodies to even think about answering a question like that correctly.

The purpose of life is to evolve and become better beings. Our true essence is found in our souls - that invisible part which we do not see, but feel all too often.

Life is a journey, not a destination. Every event - no matter how meaningless or insignificant - carries an important lesson. Our job is to learn and grow from that. Obviously, it is meant to be that at this moment, you and I are connected by these words that I write and you read, but who can say what events will spin off this brief interaction?

Enjoy life. Live every day in the present moment, and let the future take care of itself. Sooner or later, we will all know the real reason why we are here, and it is NOT to suffer for sins committed thousands of years ago.

The purpose of your life is whatever "you" decide it is at any given time. There may be times where it feels as tho your life really has no meaning. There may be times when you see the face of your first child that your purpose becomes very clear.
I don't think that we just have one purpose, one path. I think we
have different purposes at different times in our life. Whether evolution is true are not my answer would be the same because I believe in free will.

You have stumbled on the REAL reason many evolutionists prosylytize so much...they don't want you to find out there really is a Creator who wants to give purpose to your life....

When people find a personal relationship with God evolution immediately bites the dust.

Yes evolution is true, OK? , well no its not OK?.. It Doesn't matter at all to me,alI I am concerned about is my relationship with the holy Spirit of God, that it, why in the world should I care when how or why God did anything? that s ignorant to even think about and concern myself with. so darn what?I DONT CARE ...STOP.. with all these questions, ask something about the Spirit of God.OK?I saw a rather large silver saucer shaped craft one day hovering above this building so what?TRUE.. that doesnt change anything for me.

It is what we choose to make of it ourselves. Not what someone else tells us our purpose is.

For example: health, happiness, love, respect, fun, family, friends, good works, charity, contribution, adventure, and leaving a positive legacy that makes the world a better place.

On the other hand - you could have the purpose of "having faith".

I'll stick with the things on the first list.

One must decide one's own purpose. It seems a bit hard, I know, and a trifle existential perhaps, but there you are.

there is no purpose in life, life is a non stop-cycle. its doesn't have to be just humans or animals or any species.life is the balace state of positive and negative energy in a body.
everytime these two energies meet at a certain body it creates life.
